Welcome
If you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or just feeling stuck, you're not alone. I'm here to help.
My name is Tabitha Sheeder. I am a student counsellor with a background in supporting survivors of domestic violence and abuse, and those navigating religious trauma and systemic harm. I work from a feminist, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens, and welcome clients from all walks of life. Whether you're processing past experiences, navigating identity, or simply feeling stuck, I aim to offer a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood—without needing to explain the parts of yourself that should already be known.
My sessions are grounded in presence and compassion. I blend somatic, relational, and parts-based approaches to help you reconnect with yourself.

About me
I am a student counsellor with an MA and a background in supporting survivors of domestic violence and abuse. I work from a feminist, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens, and I welcome clients of all identities and lived experiences. I have particular experience with those navigating religious trauma and systems of harm. I'm comfortable and at ease working with LGBTQIA+ clients, and I strive to create a space where you don’t have to explain the parts of yourself that should already be understood.
I am a guest on the stolen and unceded territories of the Lkwungen speaking Peoples, also known as the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations communities, and colonially known as Victoria, BC. My life has taken me across North America, Europe, and Asia, shaping a global perspective and a deep appreciation for nuance and culture. Outside of the therapy room, I’m a devoted reader, a novice flower pot gardener, and someone who deeply values beauty, laughter, and compassion wherever I can find it.
